What nuubi is
A cloud for small software, and who it's for.
nuubi is early
A cloud is a set of computers somewhere else that keep your app running when your own computer is off. nuubi is a cloud for small software. That means apps for a handful of people, like a tracker for your team, a tool for one job, or something for your family.
Who it's for
nuubi is for people who made something with an AI tool and want to show it to someone. You might have made it with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini, Grok, Cursor or something else. It doesn't matter which one.
We're still working out how well this goes for people who don't code. That's part of why it's early.
What you'll get
- A link you can send, like
football.tobi.nuubi.app. - A real sign-in for each person, with Google or by email.
- A list of who's allowed in. Anyone else stays out.
- A copy of your data, saved every night and before each update.
- An email if your app stops responding.
You won't have a server to look after. A server is a computer that runs your app all day. nuubi will handle that part.
What you'll need
You'll need an app that works on your computer. You'll also need an AI tool that can work on your computer, like Claude Code or Codex. A chat window in a browser can't do that part.
There's no dashboard yet, which means no website to click around in. You run things by asking your AI tool.
What isn't in the first version
- Your own web address.
- File storage, like a place to keep uploaded photos.
- Sending email or text messages from your app.
- Work that runs in the background or on a schedule.
We haven't set prices yet.
The name
Nubi is Italian for clouds. A newbie is someone new to software. Say it noo-bee.
